Fate was first written back in the VERY late 1990s as a little folk ditty and has undergone a couple of revisions since then. I had sent the song around to several people, and was on my way to Australia when I had a meeting with a guy named Marc DeSisto in LA, who had called me saying he really liked the song, and who told me to "put a little more of the story into that chorus".

So I worked on a 'B' section and re-demoed the song (well, three more times), finally getting real results in its being signed for film and TV placement. It landed on Dawson's Creek thanks to the kind folks at my TV and film agent's.

The Fate Single came about when I realized I had a lot of mixes of the song, and a cool Dawson's Creek video to boot. Enjoy for now the Dawson's Creek version...
